Area Groups
This section reflects the activities of the ScaleSeven Group’s Area Groups. If you are new to ScaleSeven, you may find visiting or joining your nearest group a worthwhile experience. If there isn’t one near you, consider forming one yourself!
Area Groups are informal gatherings, run with a view to sharing experiences in S7 modelling in a friendly and sociable fashion. The national Group supports and encourages the formation of Area Groups. There are currently nine groups in the British Isles, though not all are active at present.
We’re pleased to see our first official overseas Group report, from Cor de Jong, a long-time S7 member in Holland.
About the Area Groups

- Meetings occur on the last Sunday of each month, in Sudbury, Suffolk.

- Meetings occur at intervals of six to eight weeks, venues to be decided.

- Based at the HMRS Study Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire.

- Meetings take place on the second Sunday in the month four times a year, at Nailsea, Somerset, Cardiff, Chippenham, Wiltshire. Please contact Peter to confirm the location of the meeting you wish to attend.

- Meetings take place monthly, and usually take place at the co-ordinator’s home on a Sunday afternoon.
South West Scotland Area Group

- Meetings take place in members’ homes roughly every four to six weeks. This Group is very active, so expect to get roped in to build something if you visit!
