ScaleSeven Group’s National Show

Date: Saturday, 10th October 2026

10:00 am - 4:00 pm

ScaleSeven Group’s National Show, at Mark Village Hall, Mark, Somerset, TA9 4NY. To be held on the 10th October 2026.

Please note that the S7 Stores will be at the show.

As usual, the Somerset S7 Group will be hosting the National Open Day at Mark Village Hall, on Saturday 10th October between 10.00 and 16.00.

Entry is £8 (cash only and no concessions!) Hot food, with a vegetarian option, will be available at £6.50 per head courtesy of the Gardiner family, as well as the usual refreshments (tea, coffee, cake and biscuits) on a donations-basis, with ample seating to eat at while you chinwag.

All modellers are welcome to attend irrespective of their chosen scale or gauge!

The show will feature:

  • Layouts: Details to come/li>
  • Traders: Masterpiece Models, S&D Models (tbc)./li>
  • Demonstrations: track-building and styrene modelling./li>
  • The ‘roundy roundy’ for running or showing off your S7 models (DC and DCC)./li>
  • A limited selection will be available from S7 Stores

The Mark Show is back again in its usual slot and, building on the popularity of the extra tables in 2025, the side room will once again be available for you to sit and natter over refreshments and compare purchases.

S&D Models (Phoenix 1:43 figures) (fingers crossed - tbc) make a welcome return alongside regular traders Masterpiece Models.

A selection of S7 Stores items will be available too.

The venue is of course Mark Village Hall, Vole Rd, Mark, Highbridge TA9 4NY (exit M5 J22), and there is plenty of parking plus ramp access for wheelchairs. We are exploring having a card reader available to charge for entry, but please plan to bring your £8 fee in cash just in case we don’t manage.

There should be a layout or two for you to enjoy - details later.

Dave Nicholson and Dave Easto are demonstrating track-building and styrene modelling respectively. Strategically placed chairs will be available for you to pick their brains.

Finally, the ‘roundy-roundy’ welcomes all 33mm gauge stock: last year we had DC, DCC and RC locomotives over the day.

We are always on the lookout for layouts, demonstrators and traders. If you have an S7 layout you’d like to bring along sometime, do please contact David Hughes via Turn on Javascript!. Same for demonstrators and traders!
