East Anglian Area Group Report February 2019

The East Anglian Area Group continues to thrive with plenty of modelling taking place across the region. We seem to have a very friendly and convivial membership and at most shows from Bury St Edmunds to as far away as Telford our group takes the opportunity to catch-up with each other. Our monthly meetings have been pretty well non-existent this last year due to many conflicting situations. Hopefully we can get these back on track in 2019. The Love Lane Group continue to meet on a weekly basis and had the honour of being invited to take the layout to the Warley Show back in October. It turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable event culminating in the layout being awarded the Railway Modeller trophy. In addition to the Love Lane Group there are also a couple of others meeting regularly in the east of the region.
