East Anglia Area Group Report May 2020

With no opportunity to hold our regular Tuesday gatherings for the last two months, we have been having a virtual meeting for a couple of hours each Tuesday afternoon.

We usually have about 6 participants and, though we can't work on the layout, we can work on individual rolling stock projects and our sessions have become very much 'show and tell' with much advice being exchanged.

Under construction, in no particular order, are a J19, another J15 (I think that will make about 6!), a J50 with smoke and steam (without using smelly oils), an S.R. Night Ferry van, an LNER plate wagon (Rhod Turner's first attempt at kit building), a GER brake van, two BR grain wagons and a Gresley buffet car. We look forward to them being brought together soon.
