West Sussex Area Group August 2018 Report

The test track of the group is undergoing an extensive rebuild. 

Running issues encountered by both the ScaleSeven members and those working to FineScale standards, encouraged a upgrade of the test track facility. As part of this, the decision was taken to move the ScaleSeven line from the inner circuit, which only afforded a radius of a little over 6ft, to the outer circuit, being nearer 6ft 8in, hopefully this will enable a wider selection of ScaleSeven stock to run. 

The photograph shows one of the new ScaleSeven points, built by Julian Russell, ready for the loop section of the S7 track, alongside the two FineScale running lines.
