East Anglia Area Group Report May 2019

We welcome two members to our region, firstly Ian Norman who has recently moved into the area. Ian is well known to many of us and showed his Shingle Street layout at Albury last year. We welcome his assistance in our modelling activities. Secondly, we have a new member, Steve Loeber, who has recently joined the S7 group. Steve is a member of the 73082 Camelot Locomotive Society and even more importantly he is a signaller based at Colchester. We are looking forward to tapping into his knowledge in order to achieve something close to prototypical signalling on Love Lane. 

Colin Dowling has moved from Southend into Suffolk; some of you may have seen the reports on Western Thunder on the large erection that has gone up in his garden. His train shed is magnificent and almost ready for layout construction. 

Our various groups in East Anglia continue to meet regularly for both modelling and discussion.
