Tanat Valley 3 by Peter Drost
We have continued to hold weekly Zoom meetings which have been well attended, though I think we are all looking forward to having face to face meetings and getting away from lockdown.
Eldred is building a M & GN class B tank engine 4-4-0. He said it is from a kit but that he is having to scratch build a lot of it.
Rob Wigley is working on a LSWR 700 Drummond. He has also fitted the underframes and wheels to 10 of the resin wagons from Tony Watts. The Axle guards and brakes are from Rob’s own etches. (see photo). The wagons will run on Bow Junction
Rob Thompson is building a 1/72 scale Steam Wagon from a Keilcraft kit.
I have spent most of the last month organising my presentation on Bow Junction, which was for the MRC. Three of S7 SE members, who are also members of the MRC, took part in the presentation and five other members watched it. The abnormally cold weather in April has put me off working in the garage where the main board of Bow Junction is waiting for me to fix 6 servo motors.
The wagon photo, shows resin wagon bodies arranged by Antony Watts on Rob Wigley’s chassis etches. They still need top coat of paint and transfers.
Hopefully in the next report I can say we have started meetings face to face or have one planned.
