Somerset Area Group Report January/February 2023

Our January and February meetings again largely dealt with preparation for the Mark show on 7th October 2023 (you have made a note, haven’t you?)

With the sad death of our friend John Day still on our minds, we also found buyers for some of John’s ‘stash’, with the proceeds going to Cancer Research at the request of his daughter.

Steve G bought a completed L1 with sound decoder and an unmade version (sans instructions but, thanks to Ian Norman, that has now been rectified).

In February we turned once again to our individual modelling projects after the business was over. As befits the time of year, my own efforts turned indoors, to furniture for my Barnstaple Town building.

Do please consider coming along (dates in the events section) but do also check beforehand with Dave Nicholson (see Scale7 Somerset link on the right) as we may head off to Mark for a site visit.
