Tanat Valley 3 by Peter Drost
We have continued with our regular zoom meetings together with monthly SHED meeting in my garden.
Most of Bow Junction is once again in the shed as there is no room at The MRC club rooms in Keen House until the end of March, which allows us to work on the layout. I am in the process of assembling the building which is over the headshunt for the sidings in front of the locomotive erection works and also abuts Bow Road. I am using laser cut parts which have been produced using drawings that I have created.
Rob Wigley is busy finishing the North London coaches and is in the process of fitting the footboards. George Morris is producing the NLR coats of arms which go on all the coach doors. Andy Lovatt is working pavements on Bow Road where it passes over main line at the north end of the layout.
George Morris has been busy on producing S7 track using 3D printed components which he has made on his own 3D printer. This also includes points and crossings. Therefore, together with the work that John Walker has already carried out on 3D printed track, our Group has an in-depth expertise in creating S7 track using 3D printing.
