West Wales and the Marches Area Group Report, February 2025

After a deliberate short delay to see if there were any more interested members the inaugural meeting of the West Wales and the Marches area group was held in The Raven, Welshpool on 28th September. There were three of us, Paul Carter, our Vice President Dave Hunt and me.

We had a most enjoyable meeting that lasted around five hours during which we discussed lots of S7 things along with much else besides.

We agreed that our next meeting, which will be on 22nd March 2025, hosted by David, so we will have the opportunity of seeing his locomotive shed layout, inspired by Hellifield. This you may recall features in the current issue of Model Railway Journal (N° 306).
