South East Group Report August 2025

We have continued with weekly zoom meetings and monthly in person meetings in my SHED. The main activity is just explaining, in turn, to the rest of the group what we have been modelling.

John Walker, aided by Rob Walker and Eldred Clarke, have continued with the Bullied Loco wheel project. John has fitted a set of his wheels to a loco and run it successfully around his garden railway.

Eric Hines is continuing building another layout (I think this his 5th layout in the last 12 years), this time it is a fixed layout inside his bungalow. So far all the track has been laid.

Eric Ramsay has continued work on a wide variety of rolling stock.

The Bow Junction project is proceeding slowly and at the moment it is suffering with electrical problems.

George Morris has 3D printed some of the classical mouldings for the Bow Station building.
