South East Area Group Report May 2022

On Thursday 28th April we had our first in person meeting in my shed. We had one meeting in my garden in August 2020 and the one before that was in February 2020 just before the lockdown. 10 people attended our meeting last week.

We intend to continue with physical meets once a month as before, but now with weekly zoom meetings in between, while members still want it. We are looking into having hybrid meetings once we have solved the problem of extending the Wi-Fi 130 feet down the garden.

Our Group had a stand at the London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace at the end of March.

Rob Wigley has continued with the North London Railway 4 wheel coaches for which he has produced the etches and built the sprung under frame, using 3D printed springs and their hangers by John Walker, as well as the short buffers for between coaches.
