South East Area Group Report February 2022

We have continued holding weekly zoom meetings with attendances of 8 to 10 members.

Rob Wigley has been working on building a model of the signal box at Rickmansworth, alongside preparing the etches for the 6 NLR coaches and the two brake ends. He is also pulling together a sheet of etches focussing on a series of wagon number plates and ownership plates.

Rob Thompson has been working on some covered vans.

Eldred Clark has been building some M&GN open wagons.

John Walker has been fitting a fume extraction system for his 3D printer at the same time as continuing working on the 3D printing of a driving wheel for a Bullied Pacific. He is also preparing to print the leaf springs for North London Railway coaches.

Eric Ramsay has been making leaf spring for wagons from brass etches.

Eric Hines has continued working on his new layout ‘Watlington’. His previous layout ‘Cranmore’ will be at the London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace on 19th and 20th March 2022.

George Morris has been working on his own small layout.

Peter Mann has been building the turnery building for Bow Junction.
