A S7 build of the Malcolm Mitchell GWR 517 kit by Paul Hannah

Paul - a non-member - has kindly allowed me to add his huge build thread on here.

This article deals with Continuous Springy Beam suspension (which he liked!), getting the dome and chimney profiles correct for an early version of the 517 and also shows several of his machining and modelling techniques to give us a thoroughly good read and guide to building one of these classic locomotives.
